Description

Industrial Gear Oil Lodexol ISO 68

Industrial Gear Oil Lodexol ISO 68 Morris Lubricants

A range of industrial gear oils, combining high quality mineral oils and extreme pressure (EP)
additives, intended for use in industrial gear systems of the spur, helical and straight and spiral
bevel types. Lodexol Industrial Gear Oils have high load carrying capability and ensure ‘clean’
gear performance under conditions of high temperature and oxidation. Additionally these
grades provide strong protection against wear, oxidation, foam, rust and corrosion.

APPLICATIONS
Lodexol Industrial Gear Oils are designed for use in a wide range of industrial, agricultural and
plant applications, including: reduction gearboxes, direct drives, worm drives, angle drives,
chain drives, gear couplings, hoist/winch gearboxes, screw feeder gearboxes, travel
gearboxes, swing gearboxes, turret heads, work-heads, centralised circulation systems, etc.

Note! Lodexol industrial gear oils are used extensively in worm gears, under conditions of high
pressure and temperature. Previously, there was a concern that certain EP additives would react with
the bronze gear, however, new additive technology prevents any corrosive attack and protects steel
gears better than compounded gear oils alone.
